"It was a pleasure for us in Norsk Landbrukssamvirke to introduce the cooperation between Biovotec and Nortura at the Agricultural Show Dyrsku`n Telemark in early September! Norwegian Agricultural Cooperatives had been invited to speak about "Future food production" with Crown Prince as a spectator, we decided to let the Crown Prince see what Norwegian food can also be used for - not only as edible! The reality that a wound healing patch may come out of fresh, Norwegian eggs is simply amazing and we were proud to present this on behalf of Biovotec to the crown prince! This is a proof that Norwegian agriculture will play a major factor in the much-publicized "green shift" - and create new products, which are not only food but pharmaceuticals as well. That process was started in Nortura Revetal in autumn and it is something we are going forward with excitement and eagerness." -Frida Johansen, PR representative; Norsk Landbrukssamvirke
"This is a very concrete example of the opportunities that good animal health provides. Healthy animals produce safe food, and creates a basis for new products that the world needs. Many are talking about circular economy. The cooperation between Biovotec and Nortura shows how to do this in practice. I get inspired on the job when a hen produces both food and drugs. We will see a lot of in the future.” - said CEO of Norsk Landbrukssamvirke
